19th: pentagram

so Krabat by Ottfried Preußler is likely to be one of the most inspiring books i read during my childhood. it's common in Germany to read it in school and it's also well known around here.
the plot is basically: a boy who wants to work in a mill, but it turns out that this mill is a school for black magic, lead by a vicious miller. Krabat, the new boy, becomes part of that community by accident and is introduced to black magic. The only catch is, that after 3 years of apprenticeship, he has to pay with his life.
there's also a newly filmed movie, i never saw it, and probably never will, because i fear that the pictures i had in my mind will vanish. theres only an older version (see screenshots above) which indeed is lovely.
