botanica pt 1

i'm nearly done with my exams so i had a little time left to scan and edit photos and sprinkle fairy dust over them

this is the first part of a project i decided to call botanica because it sounds so elevated and super artistic, you know

it's pretty much about plants and flowers in different environments, also for part II i'm gonna try to capture the mood of cacti in a greenhouse so wish me luck for that

also you might have noticed that my blog is all symmetry and flowers now
i just helped it a little bit to get out of that dusty winter coat and put on a flowy summer dress, look how happy it is now !

comes spring comes change

spring has arrived in The Wizard's Heart

in the next few days it will shed it's skin and become the colourful butterfly that has been lurking underneath all the time

so this is about the vibes for botanica

I guess the mood of botanica is like a big victorian glass house filled with pale greenish and yellow succulents

it is the naked branches in the spring that have giant pink flowers

it's about plants in an unnatural environment, botanica is the flower seller around the corner

it has a bit of Arizona, a bit of Mexico (the patterns!), Frida Kahlo('s flowers), oriental carpet patterns, sunshine through dull windows
